A data center infrastructure and real estate executive, Paul has held a number of senior technical leadership roles driving rapid business growth and technical sophistication across North America, Europe and Asia during the past 30 years. As Chief Operating Officer at Aligned Data Centers, Paul is responsible for synthesizing the efforts of Design & Construction, Facilities Operations, and Customer Success teams to anticipate and implement agile processes, drive innovation and nurture common culture thereby enabling continued effective productivity scaling as the business grows. He focuses his efforts both “within the business” and “on the business” contributing to shaping Aligned strategy.
Prior to Aligned, Paul served as VP of Design, Construction and Operations for Equinix EMEA, responsible of 78 data centers in 16 countries. Prior to Equinix EMEA, he held leadership roles at Laing O’Rourke Construction, Global Switch, KEO International, Lehman Brothers, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley and Gregotti Associati. Paul began his professional career in Skidmore Owings and Merrill in San Francisco, Moscow and London. He holds professional architectural licenses in the US and UK.
