Shelby Clark is a seasoned human capital leader with more than 25 years of experience driving organizational success through innovative talent strategies, leadership development, and cultural transformation. As Chief People Officer (CPO) at Aligned Data Centers, she oversees all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, leadership development, and company culture. Shelby plays a key role in aligning Aligned’s workforce strategy with its business objectives, ensuring the company attracts, retains, and develops top industry talent while fostering an inclusive and high-performance environment.
Since joining Aligned in 2023, Shelby has spearheaded strategic programs designed to empower leaders across Aligned and ODATA’s global operations. Under her leadership, the People & Culture team has introduced mentorship initiatives, multicultural training, and programs to enhance female representation in the data center industry—reinforcing Aligned’s commitment to operational excellence, employee empowerment, and sustainability.
Prior to Aligned, Shelby was Senior Vice President, Human Resources & Organizational Development and Financial Services Chief of Staff at First United Bank. Previously, she served as Global Human Resources Business Lead, Americas at Amdocs, leading human capital strategy across 15 countries spanning North America, South America, Central America, the Caribbean, EMEA, and APAC. Her career includes senior HR leadership roles in financial services, hospitality, and gaming, where she developed expertise in scaling high-performing teams and optimizing organizational effectiveness.
Shelby holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern Indiana and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Human Resource Management from Indiana State University.
