Shelby is a human capital leader with more than 25 years of experience helping global matrixed organizations maximize the potential of their talent and demonstrated success in scaling high-performing teams through innovative strategic and operational solutions and executive partnership. As Vice President of People & Culture, Shelby leads all components of Aligned’s human resources, recruitment, and talent development activities while developing and executing a comprehensive and sustainable people strategy that will allow Aligned to meet its business objectives and growth projections.
Prior to joining Aligned, Shelby was Senior Vice President, Human Resources & Organizational Development and Financial Services Chief of Staff at First United Bank. Previously, as Global Human Resources Business Lead, Americas at Amdocs, a multinational software and services provider, she led the human capital strategy in fifteen countries across North America, South America, Central America, the Caribbean, EMEA, and APAC. Earlier in her career, Shelby served in human resources senior leadership positions for a number of companies in financial services, hospitality, and gaming.
Shelby holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Indiana and earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Human Resource Management from Indiana State University. She is a Board Member of Hunger Busters, a non-profit organization that provides afterschool nutrition to students experiencing food insecurity in Dallas County.
