Investing in Frederick County’s Youth: Our New Partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs

We’ve partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs of Frederick County to help expand access to youth programs for children and families across the county, serving as Co-Presenting Sponsor of BGCFC’s 2nd annual Blue & Bubbly event at 7th Sister Restaurant.
We talk a lot about building foundations — the physical kind, and the community kind. They’ve never been separate things for us. This partnership is one more way we’re investing in the places our people live and work.
Why are we partnering with Boys & Girls Clubs of Frederick County?
Because the communities where we build are the communities where we stay — and investing in young people is the most durable investment available to us.
“At Aligned, we believe in building strong foundations, and there is no better investment than our local youth. We are incredibly proud to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Frederick County, helping them sustain a supportive environment where young people can receive guidance, explore their potential, and form meaningful connections that help shape their future.” — Joanna Soucy, EVP of Brand Strategy, Aligned Data Centers
BGCFC is the premier youth development organization in Frederick County. Its mission is to enable all young people — especially those who need it most — to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. No child or family is ever turned away based on an inability to pay membership dues.
“We are so excited to welcome Aligned as a new partner in support of our youth,” said Timika Thrasher, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Frederick County. “Our mission isn’t possible without community supporters and corporate sponsors who are willing to invest in the futures of youth in this great community. We thank the team at Aligned for believing that ALL youth deserve access to opportunities to succeed and create their own great futures.”
What does the Blue & Bubbly event support?
Funds raised at the Blue & Bubbly dinner help keep Club programs affordable for Frederick County youth and families — about 56% of the youth BGCFC serves receive some level of financial aid toward their membership dues.
That number is the whole argument. More than half of the kids walking through the door need help to be there, and the Club’s answer has never been to turn them away. Our sponsorship goes toward keeping that answer possible.
