As Executive Vice President of Commercial Strategy and Energy, Matt leverages his extensive experience and deep understanding of Aligned to drive the company’s continued growth and success. He is responsible for spearheading the company’s commercial strategy, uniting Sales, Finance, Legal, Project Development, and Energy teams to ensure seamless execution that balances speed, risk, and financial performance.
In his former role as SVP, Finance, Matt was responsible for Aligned’s financial activities, plans and policies, working directly with the company’s senior leadership team to collaborate on strategic decisions about the organization’s future. Prior to Aligned, Matt served as the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis at Spirit Realty Capital, Inc. as well as working in enterprise risk at Energy Future Holdings, a Dallas-area based electric utility company, as well as an Associate position at PwC – where he began his career. Matt holds a Master in Accountancy from the University of Mississippi and is a Certified Public Accountant.
