Troy Tazbaz

Troy brings more than two decades of executive leadership spanning the full lifecycle of data center infrastructure – from capital planning and global deployment to AI strategy, regulatory affairs, and enterprise transformation. As Chief Strategy Officer at Aligned, Troy drives the company’s long-term growth initiatives, spearheading AI campus development, energy strategy, and seamless alignment across commercial, operational, and corporate functions.

Troy’s experience encompasses partnering directly with the CFO to drive the expansion of Oracle’s global data center portfolio and design corporate operations while serving as Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Operations for Global Data Center Planning. Furthermore, Troy brings a unique vantage point on government regulatory affairs and digital innovation from his appointment at the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA). As head of the Office of Digital Health, he helped shape the federal government’s AI regulatory strategy, positioning him at the intersection of AI policy, infrastructure readiness, and enterprise transformation.

Troy serves on the Board of the San Diego State University Fowler School of Business and the Science Advancement Council at Meharry Medical College. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Information Systems from San Diego State University.
